Things I like

Twinkle Star Sprites Snowpiercer Cars

Here are some interests of mine and things i just think are cool and wanna rant about. Most of this stuff is probably gay and autistic but thats ok because i like them. This will be a mix of games, shows, idea/concepts, and other stuff!

Twinkle Star Sprites
I LOVE TWINKLE STAR SPRITES!!!! There is something so odd about it. Its so unknown and when you do look it up, really funny and pretty underwhelming e sport competitions of it. I dont even know what I had to look up to find it. I think its because I downloaded SNK corporation's arcade game pack on steam. It was either that or I looked up twink in the steam store... Anyways, Twinkle Star Sprites is kind of like touhou but like, multiplayer? Im not sure I dont play touhou that much if at all.

The game is pretty weird to play, people in the community say its a bad port of the original which I do believe to be true. The artwork for this game is amazing. It has that feel to it I just dont know how to explain. Honestly I think the word im looking for for this game is that lost media. This game feels like it should have been lost. It feels like I should have seen it in one of those lost media youtube videos or a reddit post asking if anybody knew about it. Whenever I get bored in class I just pull out this game. Its pretty fun and im trying to beat it all in one life on insane mode which sounds bad but it isnt really.

Snowpiercer
I cant even explain how much I am in love with snowpiercer. Big moving things are just so awesome. Especially if they are impractical. If you dont know snowpiercer is this big brutalist train with over 1000 cars that travels through a dystopian apocalyptic frozen waste land. Im mostly in love with the designs of the engine and cars, theres alot of different interpretations and trains I'll make sure to show my favorites. The version of snowpiercer in the novel is one of my favorites, I love brutalist designs in machinery. The tv show design is also a banger. The movie... ehhhh... I dont like the movie... it kinda was bad. The design is alright but not my style. If you can you should get your hands on the tv series instead of the movie, the movie sucks.

This is the main engine in the novel. One of my favorites.

Engine from the series... pretty cool, its like art deco mixed with brutalist.

Here is a comparison between the series engine and your average freight train. not sure how accurate this is though, it seems alot smaller at times in the show.

Some concept art for snowpiercer...

This is icebreaker. It apears in the novel as well. Pretty cool looking.

Cars
Newer cars kinda make me mad. I hate the trend of big and tall cars. I tink we need to go back to big and long. I love long old luxery cars for example the 1978 Lincoln Town Car, or the 1978 Oldsmobile Toronado, A car with two doors, 4.7 tons, and 19 feet. Thats the size of a small yaught in my books. Mid 80s to late 90s japanese brands are also one of my favorites. Pop-up headlights are cool. Cars like the Miata and my personal favorite, the Celica. I actually own a 89 Celica. Its in awful shape and just recently have I fixed the headlights but its still fun and I love her dearly. Too bad fixing things cost money smh. Hatchbacks are also so awesome I love hatchbacks. I love rally cars alot. My original plan with my car was to turn it into a rally car but I have my doubts. So instead I decided to make another bad descission and uhh ummm uhhh I bought another cheap car with expensive problems... And so now I have a 2004 Golf GTI. While driving it the entire exhaust fell straight off. Thats Quality. I plan to turn it into a rally car but were I live it might be hard to find events. I also am a little scared because this summer me and my friend might have possibly hit a tree head on going 35MPH on a snowmobile trail...... Those 30 year old airbags did not go off by the way.Geo Metros are also so awesome I dont know why I love them so much but ughhhh I love them so much. Same goes with late 50s cars, I love the big fins and weird designs. it seems like there was only a 5 year period of round bubbly cars with fins starting in 1955 and seemlessly disapearing in 1960. The 1959 Buick Lesabre is such a amazing car, my god I love that thing its so weird looking. It looks like an evil villain would drive it. One day (and I have always dreamt of this) I will drive an old 50s-60s car down a rainy country road with the radio playing some oldies. I would love that so much I dont think I ever stop driving.
